HOW IT WORKS
Pure silver is embedded within the fibers
Using SILVERbac's patented technology, pure silver is combined with the base polymer before it is spun into yarn. Fabrics made of this material contain silver within it and that's what we make our products out of. This silver produces positive (+) charged ions which creates an antibacterial effect.
Bacteria is damaged by silver ions on contact
The cell wall of bacteria has a negative (-) charge that attracts the silver ions which contain a positive (+) charge. The silver ions (Ag+) interact and break through the cell walls of bacteria and disrupts their replication and respiratory systems. Many odors are a byproduct of bacteria, so no bacteria = no odors!
